Hi Cedric, I just wanted to let you know how much I look forward to reading your blog. Since I found it a few weeks back I check it at least once a day, sometimes 2 or 3 times as I love your style of work and you have inspired me to start my own blog! I hope you don’t mind me putting a link on my blog to yours, Im new to this so Im not quite sure what the ‘blog etiquette’ is yet!
Hello
I have sent a (small) tip to your blog fund. Guess you would call it 10 bucks? (a fiver or rather ‘deep sea diver’ to us) Anyway, i guess it is the thought that counts.
I live in the uk and get your newsletters, i guess i am older than you but am still in learning mode and trying to absorb as much as possible. You do provide a very good resourse site. (IE: Links to podcast. etc… Marshall Vandruff, really nice guy, very pleasant in emails).
Well take care and have a good family christmas.

Hello, Cedric
I ever look up your blog. I’ve learned so much whit you advices and tips. I love your work. It’s terrific!!
I downloaded your portfolio to look at it. But it is too big [7mb it's a elephant!].
Then, if you permit, I shrinked it in Acrobat Pro, and saved a 1.5mb copy.
I can send it to you this version.
This is nothing compared to you help to us.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks Rivaldo. I’ll be in touch with you about that.
EDIT: Thanks for your help. I’ve got the portfolio down to 1.8MB.
Hi Cedric!
Love your gospel tract! I do tracts for the American Tract Society and Good News Publishers. Your work is incredible. I have a question…I have just agreed to designing characters for a video game and later (if my work is acceptable) a TV animated series. I have been out of the loop for a while and am wondering if $300 per character is fair…this, of course, includes working and re-working the character sheets until he is satisfied with the design. He wants a flat charge for each character and I don’t want to price myself out of a much needed assignment.
…am I in the ballpark…or way underpricing or overcharging?
Thanks for your time,
Eddie
Thanks for the kind words Eddie. I’ll send you a response via email.
Hi Cedric.
I really enjoyed your blog, as I am also an illustrator but I still didn´t have time or patience to start one.
Congratulations for your work.
PS: on My Services, the url link of your site is not going to it. I think that it´s simple to fix.
Best,
Marcio
Yikes! Thanks for the heads up Marcio. The link has been fixed.
Glad you like the blog!
Hi Cedric,
I just wanted to say thanks for such a brilliant blog. It is still the first blog I read each day and I just love your style of work, use of colour and sense of funDave Williams. I have really enjoyed your posts this week, in particular the links to the John Lassiter notes and I am slowly but surely working my way down your blogroll which is really great fun!keep up he good work!
I was visiting the way of the master and ran across your name on ray comforts book. I started a project a few years ago on a ten commandments series, one book per command, for children. I have some work left to do. If you have a moment please visit the website and take a look at the childrens book section. I am trusting that I will be able to complete the work soon because I think it will be a great asset to parents.
I would love to talk to you if you find it interesting.
Thanks, John Ligon 912-270-15556
