Artist David Paccia runs a blog called David Wasting Paper. Among other things he has posted over 100 interviews (and counting) with various illustrators and cartoonists. As of yesterday I’m one of them. Check it out.

As Cedric’s cousin, I can attest to his youthful love of Superman comics. I remember visiting Grandma and finding a sketch he’d left behind. I thought he’d traced it – but Grandma said, “No. Cedric did that on his own.” He couldn’t have been more than 12! It’s been great to live vicariously through my younger cousin’s success.
So, success is definitely “two wings of an airplane, talent and passion’. Cedric has both! …and he’s right, there’s no getting around the hard work that leads to success.
